Pictured underwater are a mountain lion and a female Mule Deer. The cat was likely stalking the mule deer onto the frozen lake when the ice broke beneath both creatures– leaving behind a picture of nature’s unadulterated brutality. Makes lodge life look extra kushy now doesn’t it?
