The winter just won’t stop in the Sierra and Tahoe skiers and riders are not complaining… At least not all of them.

As of this morning, Mt Baker in Washington State is still in the lead with 735″ as of March 25th. Right behind Baker are Sugar Bowl and Mt Rose, who are reporting 714″ and 705″ respectively.

“Snow, Snow, and more Snow – this winter will not stop! 705 inches and counting this season”Mt Rose Ski Tahoe

The previous record of 550″ at Mt Rose was already shattered earlier this season and the new record is going to be extremely hard to beat. Sugarbowl’s ski patrol indicated their single season snowfall record is over 1,000 inches of snow in a single season. So unless something biblical happens, Sugarbowl’s 2016/2017 season will remain out of the record books– for now.

That said, they’ve only had 66 days without snowfall this season and that’s pretty damn good.
