“Crews decided to close the avalanche gates after witnessing small avalanches. At approximately 7:30 p.m., four trucks that were already past the avalanche gates were struck by an avalanche.” -Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT)

Thankfully there is only a report of a minor injury in this incident caught on dash-cam yesterday on The Dalton Highway in Alaska which left two trucks stranded in avalanche debris after getting struck by a slide while driving according to ktva.com.  The slide has closed the highway but residents can fly in food and supplies, weather permitting (AK is gnarly).
