A series of northerly storm systems off the west coast combined with moisture from Hurricane Seymour will bring tons of snow to the higher peaks of California this week reports NOAA.

The first precipitation event will start Thursday and should include warm moisture from Seymour before a more northerly system arrives closer to Sunday. Both systems will both come in warm and leave cold with freezing levels starting at 9,500′ before dropping below 7,000′ by Sunday.
