NOAA is forecasting snowfall at the higher elevations of The Adirondack Mountains and Green Mountains. The forecast is calling for snow to develop late saturday and continue into Sunday. The snow is predicted to be heavy and wet, which might allow for the first turns of the season, if you’re willing to earn them.

Based on the weather maps, it looks as though Gore Mountain and Whiteface will be the biggest beneficiaries of the early snowfall.
