Opening day of the 2016-17 winter season is only 50 days away and old man winter is knocking on Jackson Hole’s door. This morning Jackson woke up to the largest snowfall since last season with several reports indicating between 6-12 inches of snow blanketing the summit. The top of Rendezvous Bowl looked and felt more like January than October 4th as temperatures were in the 20’s, winds gusted over 35 mph, and snow drifts exceeded 3 feet. – Jackson Hole Blog
