
It’s not often that the season’s first turns on fresh snow occur in September but if they do– you can usually find them in Montana.

That’s exactly what happened as weatherman and skier Curtis Grevenitz scored the first freshies of the season at Showdown Ski Area near Niehart, Montana this past Labor Day weekend. From what we can see through his photos, the coverage is still “sharky” (understatement of the year) but we couldn’t be more stoked to see some of the first slash shots of the 2016/2017 ski season.
