pot grow helicopterA 5 acre 18,000 plant pot operation was busted by the Feds Thursday in Pike National Forest west of Colorado Springs. The U.S. Forest Service says it also seized 2,000 of growing materials including irrigation pipe, camping gear, tarps, chemicals and multiple 50-pound bags of fertilized according to The Denver Post.  A Black Hawk helicopter was used to remove the plants and growing materials as pictured above. No arrests have been made but the investigation is ongoing.
