Things are finally coming around in New Zealand, and Mt Hutt regulars are rejoicing after a couple huge storms brought the winter season back from the dead this past week. All in all, the south island ski area recorded 30+ inches of new snow from the past storm and even though it’s been 3 days since the last major snowfall, resort officials are saying, “stashes of untracked pow still out there for the more adventurous.”
“The snow quality on our super-wide, super-smooth groomed runs is 10 out of 10 and off trail skiing and riding on tracked powder remains a fun workout.” – Mt Hutt Snow Report
