Arapahoe Basin is known for its down home ski area vibe and a large part of that feeling is thanks to its classic A-Frame base building. So in order to keep the vibe alive, resort officials are putting $1.3 million towards renovating the classic structure and enhancing base area amenities.

“As part of our commitment to revitalizing our base area, Arapahoe Basin will undergo summer renovations totaling approximately $1.3 million.” – Arapahoe Basin Statement

The improvements are necessary for the mom and pop ski area that’s grown its customer base in recent years thanks to a thriving Denver metropolitan area. In addition to the A-Frame exterior, the Arapahoe Sports will expand its retail space as well.

Also, outdoor seating, ramps, and various other plaza upgrades are expected to be completed by the end of the summer season.
