
A skier is dead after colliding with a tree at Cannon Mountain reports New Hampshire Public Radio.
The victim has since been identified as 29 year-old Trevor Hennessey of Holden Massachusetts. Hennessey, who was an avid skier, was skiing just 40 feet off the Upper Ravine Trail @CannonMountain on Saturday afternoon, when he hit a tree after missing a turn.
According to reports, the cause of death was “massive head trauma” sustained during the collision. Hennessey was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
