According to The Park Record, a Massachusetts man visiting Deer Valley Resort has been arrested after allegedly threatening a ski patroller with a clenched fist.

The man in question was skiing down an unidentified run, when the patroller was headed uphill on a snowmobile. Before crossing paths, the skier reportedly held out an arm with a fist, which the patroller claims he had to duck to avoid being hit.

The patroller proceeded to stop the skier and ultimately confiscated the agro skier’s pass and ordered him to leave the resort immediately. Instead, the skier decided to continue skiing, later boarding a lift and skiing to Silver Lake Village.

Deer Valley officials later held the man until police arrived on the scene. The individual involved is facing charges of intoxication and reckless skiing.
