Most of the time when we think of adaptive skiing we picture some type of sit skiing or the type with mini skis on the end of poles for the one legged variety but for Dan Melfi a simple ski bike is what got him back to the hill.

“I enjoyed skiing, and had a chance to do adaptive skiing. It was so euphoric to be out skiing again, even with the mobility challenges that multiple sclerosis brings. Don’t close your doors because of MS – be open to things. Take the opportunity and do it.” – Dan Melfi
