While the FAA grapples with the onset of drones and the threats they pose to safety both on the ground and in the air, the Dutch are taking an old-fashioned approach to solving the problem of unauthorized drones operating in unauthorized airspaces.

As of now Dutch police have decided to employ the services of “Guards From Above.” The private security firm is known for their exploits training birds of prey to protect their client’s interests. In this case, golden eagles taking down unauthorized drones used for criminal or terrorist purposes.
