Saddleback’s future is sitting in limbo. Ever since the Berry family announced last year that they would not be continuing mountain operations due to a lack of funds and a much-needed investment in the ski areas facilities, the ski area has remained silent throughout this season.

However, a buyer has been found and according to the Saddleback Facebook page, the terms of sale have been agreed upon. Now all that stands in the way of making the sale official is a mountain of paperwork, which should be complete by sometime in the coming weeks.
