You heard it here, Kicking Horse Mountain Resort will open early for the first time since its founding.
The resort located just outside of Golden, British Columbia has had a stellar start to the season. With over 111 inches so far and due to its exceptional snowpack, the resort will offer top-to-bottom skiing and riding starting November 28 and 29th.
That’s this weekend!
Terrain offerings will include Crystal Bowl and Bowl Over along with 100% of the mid to lower mountain terrain.Â

About Kicking Horse
At Kicking Horse, we’re proud to garner rave reviews for our incredible verticals, deep ‘champagne’ powder and a truly spectacular and unique terrain mix. With ridiculously long downhill runs, and the option to heli-ski, Kicking Horse is a place where the stories are almost too tall to believe.
The fourth highest vertical drop in North America, the raw ruggedness of our mountain, our amazing always-fresh powder, and the sheer beauty of our pristine scenery set Kicking Horse apart as one of the most exceptional ski resorts in British Columbia, hands down.
