According to NOAA, Mt. Baker is due to receive over 45” by this upcoming Monday. The system is currently projected to move southeast after dumping significant snowfall on the Coast Mountains of British Columbia before moving into northern Washington state.

As of now it looks like Mt. Baker along with resorts (such as Panorama Resort) located in the Purcell Mountains of British Columbia will fare the best.

The resorts surrounding Leavenworth should see lighter snowfall amounts at higher elevations.

As of now, snow levels are TBD and a winter weather advisory should be upcoming for Mt. Baker any day now…
