Squaw Valley will be replacing the Siberia high-speed quad chair (the oldest one in North America) with a high speed six-pack chair for next season.  This will be the first meaningful upgrade for the core skiers of Squaw Valley since KSL Capital took ownership of the resort in 2011.Screen Shot 2015-05-13 at 3.06.35 PM“Siberia Express is being replaced this summer and will become a high-speed six pack.” – Squaw Valley

The Siberia high-speed quad gives access to Siberia bowl and the short hike to the Palisades and the Chimney.  Siberia also allows for access via the Reverse Traverse to Headwall’s terrain when the Headwall chair is not in operation.
