Here is what the skier had to say about it…..

“Skiing a line on the skiers right of Tuf de la Toviere (Mickeys Ears), after dropping in the couloir narrows, before it narrowed I managed to set of an avalanche, small, but as it funneled into the narrowing it flushed me straight down to the bottom of the face. As it entered the rest of the face it fractured more and picked up more snow and speed, I went over some rocks, lost my poles and came away with a sore elbow and bad back, quite a lucky escape, I tumbled about 250meters before coming to a stop on top of the snow.”

Glad he was ok…..that looked painful.
