A small difference in the track of the low will significantly affect the weather impacts on Sunday and Monday for the Sierra and western Nevada. Scenario #1 is the most likely track of the low pressure and will bring moderate winds to western Nevada, snow levels around 6000 feet and precipitation mostly confined to northern and central Nevada. The second possibility, scenario #2 is less likely, and would produce stronger and more wide spread winds and lower snow levels that could potentially affect the Monday morning commute. The second scenario would also bring some light accumulating snow to the Sierra.
