Olympic snowboarder, Shaun White, has struck a deal with prosecutors following his arrest for public intoxication and vandalism on September 17th in Nashville, TN. As reported earlier, Shaun White got howling drunk at Black Keys drummer Patrick Carney’s wedding and proceeded to go ape shit (pulling fire alarms and destroying property) at the hotel where he was staying.

Mr. White has agreed to:

  1. seek alcohol treatment
  2. perform 24 hours of community service
  3. pay restitution to the Nashville hotel he allegedly trashed in his drunken stupor.

If Shaun fulfills these obligations by January 25th the prosecutors have agreed to dismiss the public intoxication charge against him. In exchange for Shaun’s cooperation, prosecutors have already dropped the vandalism charge.
