So far this season the Alps have received two substantial snowfalls and it’s snowing again! In the western Alps up to 20cm has fallen and the central Alps has had up to 30cm. In parts of Austria 50cm is forecasted and it is still snowing on Monday afternoon. This is a welcome treat for Europe’s glacier resorts many of which are already open for the 2012 – 2013 ski season.
