It’s August and snow is already falling in the Alps. Not just a light dusting but proper thick heavy snow that is falling down to 1800m.  As of this morning around 10cm had fallen on the slopes above Kaprun, Austria.

Snow is falling across the Alps in the higher elevations. Here is a map of the latest snowfall and a snow forecast from Zinal (Snow-forecast.com).

The European Masters is being played at Crans Montana in CH, and the guys were bundled up with snow coming down at higher elevations.

Hell ya! I’m hoping to score a week somewhere in the Alps come december..anybody know where some higher elevation spots or spots that are usually getting snow are just before Christmas time? Cheap doesn’t hurt either. I do not need luxury in the least

I don’t need anything as gnar as squaw but i’d prefer something steeper than northstar
