Capping off the 2012 Boston Beer Week was the American Craft Beer Festival held at Boston’s World Trade Center this past Friday night and Saturday. Nearly 15,000 people bought tickets this year to help celebrate the 5th anniversary of Beer Advocate’s largest and most anticipated event.

I think most people who read these posts are familiar with beer geeks. They come in all shapes and sizes but beer geeks are generally perceived by the public as fat, nerdy men with beards who scoff at domestic macro beers and have terrible B.O. Although there’s much truth to that description my queries have led me to believe that’s not really the case.

I took a break from pouring during the first session on Saturday and asked some people what they thought. Here’s what a few had to say:
