Tuesday Afternoon: Yet another avalanche death in the Sea to Sky corridor
A 44-year-old Squamish man was sledding with a group of four when he triggered an avalanche doing a himark. The avalanche occurred around 3 o’clock about 20k south of Whistler on Powder Mountain . The slide covered about 1km of land and settled on Grizzly Lake.
“The group managed to dig the man out, but he was unconscious, unresponsive, not breathing and had no pulse.
