Steamboat received the most snow of any resort in Colorado overnight with a record breaking 27 inches at mid-mountain in a 24-hour time period.  Another 7 inches of snow was reported since the 5 am report, bringing the resort’s 30 hour total to 34 inches. The previous record for single day snowfall was in January of 1996 when Steamboat received 26 inches of snow in 24 hours.

Wheres Waldo?

“This is the Champagne Powder® snow day that everyone has been waiting for,” said Rob Perlman, Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation. “Hoots and hollers could be heard reverberating throughout Ski Town, U.S.A.®, with guests and locals alike up to their waists in fresh snow.  And with this much fresh powder, conditions will remain unbeatable for quite some time.”
