Check out Squaw skier Jackie Paaso’s run from her recent win in Chamonix on the Swatch Freeride World Tour.

Smart skiing from Paaso in this POV. Those takeoffs look reefy but Passo chooses her line carefully and skies it clean with a large and fast triple at the end.

Jackie has the habit (and goal) of trying to ski like the men on the tour. Her eyes tend to gravitate towards some of the bigger lines on a competition venue. When she stomps her run it’s impressive. When she doesn’t stomp her run chances are it’s an equally impressive show.

Jackie was on the top of her game in 2010 with a big win at Squaw’s Tram Face event and a 3rd place overall finish for the Freeride World Tour season. With high expectations in 2011 Jackie was sending it but after navigating a couple of tomahawks she wasn’t satisfied with her seasons’ results. Watching this run from Cham it looks like she’s back on it. Passo put one down for the judges in Chamonix this year. Good to see you back on the podium Jackie! Congratulations on a huge win in Chamonix and Good luck in Norway!
