SQUAW VALLEY CONDITIONS REPORT JAN. 31st, 2012:

It was a beautiful day at Squaw today.  Sunny, hot, no wind, and good snow conditions.

Granite was skiing well off-piste, the Shirley groomer was $$, the Siberia groomer was icy, chalky, and fast, and the Mountain Run was all-time.

Even the extreme skiers were happy with a little Rock Garden love off KT-22.

Today was a fine day at Squaw Valley USA.

The forecast tomorrow looks a bit daunting with light snow showers and a high of only 34.  But, luckily it’ll only snow about less than one inch.  So you can leave those snow shovels at home

After tomorrow, we get back to what sunshine and warm temps.  Not as good as dumping snow, but at least it’s gorgeous out every single day…
