Spring 2006 • Launched UnofficialSquaw.com and formed Unofficial Networks LLC – Designed the website – Created and posted daily videos and stories (e.g. conditions reports, and industry and local news)
Summer 2007 • Traveled to South America and launched website that provided information, reviews, photos, videos and articles on skiing the Andes Mountains of Chile and Argentina – Established on-site infrastructure to facilitate continued operations and staffing
January 2009 • Raised seed capital – Hired and managed a staff of 10 to create and post content – Supervised an advertising campaign to increase website visitors – Created a team of professional skiers to represent Unofficial, and traveled to all seven Continents to provide footage for “Skiing the 7 Continents” (an Unofficial original production)
December 2010 • Launched UnofficialNetworks.com – Oversaw expansion of operations to five additional geographic locations each with on-the-ground reporters and corresponding URLs under UnofficialNetworks.com – Redesigned website with VR Interactive, a Jackson Hole based action sports web company – Managed public relations with resorts, industry companies, and ETC…..
December 2011 • Oversaw continued expansion including UnofficialJapan.com • Developed an advertising strategy.
April 2012 • Contracted VGM to grow ad revenues • Developed Unofficial Networks into the most visited ski/snowboard blog in the world, with over 1M uniques and 2.5 million page views per month
July 2013 • Negotiated and oversaw partnership agreement with USATODAY Lifstyle/Action Sport
