Mackenzie Face

The Freeskiing/Freeride World Tour has been delayed from Monday to Tuesday due to heavy snow in Revelstoke.

Athletes are to be usher to the top of Mackenzie Peak by Tangier Heli Skiing and they obviously can’t fly in the fog, wind, and heavy snow that has already enveloped the mountain and is forecasted to be around tomorrow.

For now, the comp has been rescheduled for Tuesday.

Mackenzie Peak at Revelstoke Mountain Resort, host to the Finals, is hidden today by clouds, fog and falling snow. Since Selkirk Tangiers Heli Skiing flies skiers to the start, today’s Finals event is forced to wait for clearer skies for flying.” – Freeskiing World Tour
