The seventh installment of the World Series of Beer Pong will take place in Las Vegas at the Flamingo starting on January 1st.  The 4-day event is sponsored and put on by bpong.com, a web site “created by beer pong players with a love of the sport of beer pong for the purpose of serving the needs of players and the beer pong community at large” (bpong.com). Winning it all nets the winning team a grand prize of $50,000 with the possibility of making an additional $15,000!

The World Series of Beer Pong is the largest, longest-running organized beer pong (aka Beirut) tournament in the world, created by beer pong players, for beer pong players. Last years event drew over 1,000 participants from 45 U.S. States and 5 Canadian Provinces, offering the largest payout in beer pong history of $65,000. Games are played on 8-foot BPONG Tables, and WSOBP Rules govern all gameplay. (bpong.com)

To enter you can buy into the event or win a WSOBP satellite tournament.  All participants must stay at the Flamingo for liability reasons.  The sign up deadline has already passed though so maybe you can get in next year.  You can read the official rules here.  They’re pretty comical actually.

Cheers!
