The Bike in Movies are back!  Last week was the first showing and a good number of people showed up to enjoy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  This summer the films are being showed in the lawn of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. The church across from the rec center.  Do not worry, there is no religious tone to the evening.  Just people out enjoying biking and classic movies. Tonight’s movie will be Princess Bride.

The evening works just like a drive in movie, but is free and everyone gets off their bike.  Bike in with a blanket, chair and extra layers to get comfortable and stay warm.  The temps have been dropping pretty fast when the sun goes down.  Come a little early and enjoy some music and yard games.  The music starts around 7 and Snake RIver Brewing will be offering beers.  The Momo Shack also give you an option of food.  Bikes are raffled of each night.  The bikes are donated by Hoff’s Bikesmith, Fitzgerald’s, and Wilson Backcountry.

Andy Zimmerman and his website bikewire.org are responsible for making the bike in movies happening this summer.   Get out there and support the biking community.  If there is a good turnout, next year we can have a longer bike in movie season.  The final movie this summer is ET on the 24th.
