The Gipsy Kings are a solid act from the way way back. Come check it out!
Aug 17th – Peter Frampton @ Red Butte Gardens @ 6:30pm Cost: (inside: $50 / on the hill: free)
The man with the talking guitar is back in the SLC. This show will really really rock guaranteed.
Aug 18th – Ghostland Observatory/Phantogram @ Pioneer Park @ 7:00pm Cost: Free!!!
Very interesting music for free this week at Pioneer Park. Ghostland is a band that lots of my people are all about, so it must be good stuff right? Sounds like a plan.
Sunday Aug 21st – Weber Float @ Weber put in (Henefer, UT) @ 1-2ish pm Cost: Free
The Weber was completely nuts two Sundays ago. It looked like spring break in the parking lot at 2:00pm and the first pullout by the bridge looked like it had about 150 people there. The second pullout at the farm was popping too! The farmer dudes even let us rope swing the hell out of their crane truck. This will be your best chance to get hammered and look at chicks in bikinis this week in SLC…Video to follow…
