Cinematographer Chris Kirkham and film editor Andrew Bamford teamed up with pro rider Roland Morley-Brown and The World Heli Challenge to bring you this personal take on the experience. Following Morley-Brown as he rips the mountains and the streets of New Zealand’s South Island, this segment presents some great footage from the World Heli Challenge and one rider’s impressions of the sport, the lifestyle, and the intensity of competition riding.

This year the World Heli Challenge invited a number of film makers and photographers to capture scenes and stories from the event in what they called the World Heli Challenge Shootout. Film makers were given 10 days to produce 5 minute segments. This was one of the Shootout entries.
