Other developments will include additions to snow-making on the lower mountain that will allow for better flow and more open terrain during the early season, a new grooming machine with additional staff, a new terrain pipe and park cutter and renovations to the Kid’s Ranch registration facility.
In addition, Jackson Hole will be lengthening their season, starting this next season during Thanksgiving and closing on April 8th, 2012, bringing the total number of open days to a record of 135. This is great news for Jackson skiers as the resort closed last year on the 3rd of April, when there were still mid-winter conditions due to the 558 inches of snow that the mountain received last season.
