After yesterdays snowstorm my Australian buddies, Chris Wolfenden, Jason Layh and I were on a mission to find some June powder turns. So early this morning we decided to head up to (correction: one of) the highest peaks in the Tahoe basin, Mt. Tallac. Here is a look at what we found.

Oh it was GOOD! 6″ of new snow above 7,000′.

Wind and snow up on Mt. Tallac this morning.
