Powder skiing in may lake tahoe 2011å

This video is Brennan Lagasse sticking his tongue out (watch closely) and happily eating large quantities of snow while skiing blower powder on May 15, 2011.

You’ll never guess what it’s doing in Tahoe right now…Snowing.  And it’s not supposed to stop until Thursday.  Another Foot on the way!

Here’s What Brennan had to say about this clip:

After an unreal show in the Bay this past Saturday that went from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. I didn’t get home to Tahoe till 830 a.m. Sunday morning.  When I left Tahoe at about 1 p.m. I had just skied some sloppy corn and it was warm. The wind had just started to pick up. By the time I was walking into my front door Sunday morning it almost looked like mid-winter again.  It was snowy. It was cold. But I needed some sleep. When I started breaking trail at 4 p.m. after some much needed rest there was 4-6″ new. It quickly grew to 6-8″, then 10″, and even some spots of a foot+. The snow was not what I’d normally like to see this time of year (plaster), but dropping into a few thousand feet of chest-to-head-high blower at 6 p.m. was a pretty sweet way to end the weekend and kick off a few great days of late season powder skiing in Tahoe.
