The Squaw Valley to Tahoe City bike path has been cleared and is open for the summer season. I went for a ride today and it was super! Few things in life can make you as happy as a bike ride on a fine spring day. Puddles of muddy water are still standing in parts of the path so be prepared for a bit of mud splat.

The snowbanks on the side of bike path are still quite high in spots.
Pay no attention to this. Any local will tell you the bike path works just like the road whether you are walking or on a bike.
This is the highest snowbank I found. It is located directly behind the Squaw Valley firehouse.
The Truckee River is looking very full and very cold.
The bike path leads you right to the the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe.
