Boreal Bag Jump

If you’re really anxious to get on the snow this weekend, and are sick of the same sunny runs at Squaw, you can always get onto some sunny faces in the backcountry as was recommended by Brennan Lagasse if you’re willing to hike.  I had an awesome time today hitting the Bag Jump at Boreal, which should be open through Sunday at 3pm.  Otherwise, here are a few other activities to do:Tonight, the 28th:

Sugar Bowl Ski Resort. Live music, vendor Village set-up educating guests on how to decrease their carbon footprint. Sugar Bowl will match all Ski Green Tags as a charitable donation to Ski Green.

Truckee Stone Soup

Soup night from 5 to 7 p.m. at Community Arts Center through March 27. Enjoy food and music with homemade soup and community. Volunteers help with prep, cooking, service and cleanup.
