Edelweiss Mountain Deli
Edelweiss Mountain Deli

The Edelweiss Mountain Deli is a staple stop for most locals on the way to or from the mountain.  They’ve got a huge selection of home baked goods, ranging from an awesome array of cookies and cupcakes to homemade baklava and assorted pies.  Any of these are a great choice for breakfast or just to please your sweet tooth.  Beyond their baked goods, they’ve got a large deli with a large menu of different subs and wraps.  You can see them slice the deli meat right in front of you, or if you are in a hurry, you can grab one of their pre-made sandwiches or wraps.  I tend to favor their Honey Maple Turkey Wrap.. yumm!  My one criticism of their sando’s and wraps is that they can get a bit pricey.  You are looking at about $7+ dollars for a wrap.  Not bad if they are huge, but the size is quite average.  If the sando’s aren’t your style, you can grab a snack from one of the many chips, bars or granola items on the other side of the store.  If you are looking for some brews to put down after a day on the hill, well this place is the jackpot.  They’ve got a ton of local beers for you choosing!  Try some of the Rock Art brews if you are unsure of what to get.  All in all, the Edelweiss Mountain Deli is definitely worth the stop.  It’s been on the Mountain Road forever and has earned it’s local status.  Show some love and swing by next time your on the way to the hill!
