Dreary reports are rolling in from across the west: rain to the top in Utah, rain to the top in Whistler, floods in Oregon. Meanwhile, in Jackson Hole, it’s unreal. Sure it there’s a rain crust on the lower third of the mountain and the snow we’ve gotten has been a bit dense, but it’s still skiing great. As long as you’re not venturing into the lower faces it’s pretty close to all time, and the snow we got last night should help to heal things up. Backcountry continues to be sketchy, so if you go out, choose your path wisely. Otherwise, enjoy the niceness!
