After a Spring-like-day yesterday, today was much colder with temperatures hovering around 10 degrees on the summit and a pretty steady wind. Operations blew snow on 7 trails overnight and through today to make up for the snow lost during this weekend’s rain. The morning started off partly cloudy with low visibility at higher elevations. Most of the trails were in good condition with packed powder due to snowmaking. Snow showers moved in around noontime and it’s still flurrying now (4pm). The good news is the Holiday crowds have left, the North Slope park is dialed in and snow is forecasted for most of the next 10 days. Think snow!
