It was a great day out there today! Always awesome to ski when it’s storming. Today was a pretty serious day, with cold temps, blustery winds and snow falling like crazy at times. These conditions kept the majority of the holiday crowd off the trails, with significantly less traffic out there compared to the rest of the week. Definitely a PLUS!
Snow started falling early this morning, with the mountain reporting 6″ new around 4:00. The snow was blowing into the woods though and the trees were skiing deep, especially off Chairs 14 & 6. The snow is supposed to keep falling for the next few days, and hopefully this storm will really set us up for the new year.
