It has been two days of beautiful sunshine here in the Tetons, and there still are some great stashes of powder.   The temps have remained low and the snow up high is soft and has mid season cover. Near the bottom of the mountain you still are feeling the hard base from the thaw-freeze.  As long as you stay on the upper mountain and are willing to look for it, there are some postcard worthy turns to be had.

In the afternoon, the clouds arrived.  The lift lines went from very short to nonexistent because of the cold and flat light.  Word has it another storm is on it’s way.  Sweet!
