More Spring skiing for Squaw Valley. Firm conditions in the morning followed by a slow softening of the snow in the afternoon. Sunny skies and warmer temperatures are starting to create some quality corn snow on the right aspects. If you are headed up skiing today try to move with the sun around the hill. Here is todays update from the Weather Geek. Get ready for some spring skiing. March began with great promise, but it seems to have spent everything it had in its first week, dropping a month’s worth of snow on us in the span of a few days. Now Tahoe’s winter is- slipping away. The sun is moving higher in the sky and the days are growing longer.- There is still time for one more big storm before the calendar calls it a change of seasons.
