Las Leñas is opening tomorrow (Wednesday, June 20). They’ll be the first South American resort to open this season, and it looks like conditions will be great. Significant snow fall over the past week (Exhibit A, Exhibit B, Exhibit C) means the base should be plenty deep enough for this time of year.
Get excited for the opening with some great videos from the 2011 season with Jordi Tenas and Txema Trull. Jordi and Txema are Las Leñas’ favorite Catalan skier-photographer duo. They are awesome skiers and photographers, and know how to get stoked to kick off a new season. Just listen to the audio at the end of the video above if you don’t believe me.
