The US isn’t the only place in the northern hemisphere to see snowy conditions in the mountains this September.

The western alps, namely France, just got blasted with a nice coat of snow that’s getting Europeans fired up for the upcoming ski season. To put the grim nature of skiing in Europe into perspective, it’s been close to a decade since central Europe saw a banner snow year and maybe– just maybe this is the omen they need.
