And this is why Norway is so dominant in all things cross-country skiing events. While we are enjoying the summer they are crushing biathlons in the streets of Sandnes, Norway. Its all part of the BLINK festival which is the world’s largest summer skiing event:

“The BLINK ski festival was organized for the first time in 2006 and has developed into the world’s largest skiing event in the summer. In 2015 we celebrated the 10th anniversary, and this year we will continue for 10 new years!

Every year, more than 100 cross-country skiers and skiers on the World Cup level put on the starting line in Lysebotn and Sandnes.
