While the urban areas along the eastern seaboard are getting mostly rain, the mountains of the northeast are pulling down some serious snowfall totals with Vermont and New York leading the pack.

So far Smugglers’ Notch is in the lead with 44″ of fresh snow in the last 72 hours. Hunter Mountain is close behind Smuggs’ with a storm total of 43″ since Monday. And it’s not over yet as the storm is set to continue with lingering showers and snow lasting until Thursday.
