You might not associate avalanche training with sunscreen but the people at the Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center know dangerous conditions persist through the spring season and anyone venturing into the mountains needs a proper education. That is why they join forces with the Spokane Mountaineers to provide avalanche education for their annual Steven’s Peak climb.
